I ordered my Levels IC a couple weeks ago and will hopefully be receiving it sometime soon. As I sit and wait I am planning ahead for the install. I'm curious if it is recommended to replace the factory hose clamps that hold everything together. I haven't seen it discussed here befire, so I'm guessing it's not needed. But, I have seen several people discuss the benefits of t-bolt clamps vs regular worm gear clamps.

I'm actually experiencing issues right now with my OEM clamps coming loose just two or three days after I tighten them. MAP sells an upgrade kit fo $25 shipped.

That's good to know. They weren't in the pucture, so I figured you were just supposed to use the stock ones.

I thought I remembered seeing that somewhere, but couldn't find them on the website. I found it now, thanks.

If your t-bolts are backing off, why not just throw some nylocks on them? I'd much rather have a tbolt than a worm gear clamp cutting the lines up.

No problems with my tbolts on a Mishi FMIC btw.

I can't speak from experience as I haven't received mine. Nik said it would take a couple weeks make and get it shipped. But, it seems like some others on here have waited 3-4 weeks. I think Nik is basically a one man shop, so it probably takes a little longer than some of the bigger companies. I know it'll be worth the wait, so I'm OK with it.

I have pulled out the ic twice and have been using the oem clamps. They work well enough that nothing has popped off so far but this time I noticed the pipes did move from where I originally clamped them down. Wish I had better clamps to be dlsafe it's a pain to get the pipes on and off so if your going to do it do it now.
