Updating Sync 2

Sign up for an account at owner.ford.com, once you've put your car details in it'll show an update for the Sync 2 system (It knows your Mustang is an EU model too). Once you've installed it, it'll create a file which you then upload back to the website so Ford know its been updated.
Handy way of keeping your Sync 2 up to date.

No, it updates the unit directly. I don't have the nav option or a sd card in.

I wonder why the Ford UK "My Ford" website doesn't offer the same update option? I guess I need to register on both sites and make up a US address.
