Does anyone have or can anyone take some pictures for me of the underneath portion of your back bumper where say you would take apart stuff to get access to replacing the entire backup light assembly. I need to replace mine but I have also noticed there looks to be some type of plastic brace or something broken missing but I haven't been able to see another car's to see what all i might need to have replaced. I will try to get pics of mine in a few minutes and post them to show exactly what I'm talking about if there is confusion. thanks!

Here is a picture. I just noticed this. didn't have time to check and see if there is supposed to be a bracket on the driver side as well? but if someone else can get a picture of the similar area i would appreciate it.

Hope this helps... sorry for the poor quality selfie camera pic.

It looks like there should be two arms that connect to the bumper.

Looks like OP's arm that connects to the bumper cracked in half and spun around facing into the bumper (rear of vehicle)

Edit* actually looks like a section of it broke off and is missing

Agreed. Should be real simple to replace. Looks like its there to stabilize the bumper cover.

Thank you man! never been a ford guy till now. never knew of that site. Really appreciate it!
You are very welcome! Glad to help! Your local ford dealer should be able to find it from that info, and only a $20 part. Looks to come right off as well, so easy replacement. Cheers! I just discovered that site about 4 months ago, wish I would have known about it before, really handy with all the diagrams and such.
