Most do-it-yourself canned underbody treatments go on like tar. The flexible thick coating usually begins to loosen, allowing water and salt to work its way between the layer and the vehicle greatly accelerating corrosion. The underbody treatment should look and feel like hardened paint.
In addition, you would need to drill holes to spray into cavities. Don't spray into the doors. The underbody coat will gum up the window mechanisms. Professionals use a 'wax' type coating in the doors that inhibits corrosion but won't jam the windows.
If you can afford, it have professional undercoating done...you won't have to spend days...and you usually get an extended corrosion warranty.

Unless you use the kit I posted immediately above your post. Goes on like melted butter.

I used POR15 on past projects. Super stuff, not cheap, goes on thick and dries smooth. And if you do the inside of your trunk, with all the fumes in there, you will get really gooned. I looked at it as a fringe benefit of using it. Heh, . . . . .gooned.
