I can't believe that there are not scheduling/production/delivery reports being churned out that would identify cars that are seemingly slipping through the net, especially UCL vehicles. As an older order the possibility that my car could be built then still take 5 months+ to arrive terrifies me. Sort of.
And there are plenty guys who've waited longer than I have.

It's on the move

Good news and a swift response for me from Stacey at [email protected]. My car is now on the Tonsberg (world's largest ro-ro ship). If it docks on schedule that will be 18 January in Zeebrugge.

Likely delivery for my car must now be February - just over 2 years since I put down the deposit. I don't want to hear any more whinging from you boys about unbearable 9 month pregnancies ;)

I agree it is a little scary as what has happened to the car in all that time since it has been built as it's definitely not been inside from the elements!! :(

Should be big enough for a Mustang or two...
Hopefully a lot of owners will be united with their cars in the coming weeks.

Update from Karen is that my car is at Zeebrugge after being on the Columbia Highway. Apparently just waiting on the next boat going to Southampton.. Up to 3 weeks she reckons so I'm just going to kick back and wait on the beast. I've stressed about it enough and it's nearly at the finish line. I was chasing cancelled orders but not now.
Now I'll have to wait and see if I can live up to what I told myself a while back - if the car turns up late Jan / early Feb I'll wait for the new registration in March.. Not going to happen:D

Good news! Looking forward to seeing one around Aberdeen. Did you know it had been built?

Yes mate, it was eventually built mid November but didn't know it had definitely made its way onto a boat until today. It's cleared customs in Zeebrugge (can't imagine any don't) and waiting a boat.
I do remember my dealer saying they would let me know what boat it was on so I could track it, I was surprised as I didn't have to pull any teeth but a the same time I was thinking I'll know when it hits Europe before you do.... And wallah..
When they phone me over the next few weeks I'll just act surprised and say how amazing it is that modern technology allows us to track things as tiny as little itsy bitsy muscle cars on those little row boats as frequently as once a year.. Blows my mind:clap2:
