UK Mustang delivery

Jeez. Mine was built on the same day. Karen did email me to say it had just left the factory then told me the same when I enquired 2 weeks later.

A couple of weeks after that Deysha told me it was still at the factory, where it then stayed for quite a while.

Now my car supposedly arrived in Southampton last Saturday but the trail has gone cold. My dealer was expecting a delivery yesterday but I have had no phonecall to say that it's finally here.

Bloody frustrating isn't it.

I get more info when I order a couple of hundred quids worth of stuff from iKea.

Mine was on the CSCC Asia and the Autostar (arrival Southampton Sat 19th Dec). I've just been informed by my dealer and confirmed by Karen it's due for delivery tomorrow . The dealer has arranged to have it ready for me to collect on Christmas Eve morning .......fingers crossed .

What a great Xmas present!

I was driving past my dealer this afternoon so popped in to check some of the delivery process/plate switch details.

My car is still "probably" in Zeebrugge but she can't check until Thursday when "the only person with access to that system" is back, but she is confident of early/mid Jan delivery.

She also mentioned they have now taken about 80 orders, and have delivered about 5 so far.

And I did notice the showroom model is now roped off to stop people jumping into it unsupervised!

Most showroom/demo car's are also being sold afterwards, and most have their names to them already. I'd hate to be the person that let that happen to my car. The Demo car we sat in the seats had stains on them, especially the passenger side... And they were cream seats!

fwiw my dealership has taken 100 orders, received 12, delivered 9, 3 waiting to be collected and have 1 demo car ready to go.

What great timing! Mine arrived on the same boats but I've still had heard nothing so I'm guessing I'm not going to see mine until early next year now, I thought last deliveries were today. :cheers:

Train is a week, you have holiday shutdown to take into account now though

So mine has arrived at my dealer this morning apparently.

Going to wait to 2016 for registration so it is a 16 not 15.

Got told what the reg is which is grand as its a repeating number.

So I'll have to get a chance to go over and see it soon. Supposed to be moving house next week so it might have to wait a few weeks.

It's as well I'm patient!!

[MENTION=14112]croyde[/MENTION] Can you believe this? I would be down right away to lift it. I can't understand why anyone would want to wait any longer to pick up their car :frusty:

I've waited patiently this long so what's another week or two.

Won't be registered till January anyway. Plus sort insurance and finances.

Yeah mid January will be grand. It's not like it's going anywhere.
