Morning chap,I've been thinking of getting a Mustang very similar to yours with similar mods. I have had a few questions however.
a) What MPG do you get City/Highway with the Ecoboost?
b) How does the Magnaflow exhaust sound? Any chance for a video?
Thanks
Apologies for the somewhat slow reply, I'm regularly inactive on the weekends. Anyway as welsh treg said, i'll be here to give a bit more indepth.
A) I'll average anywhere over 32 on a long journey. I average (on 1.7k miles) 25.0MPG exactly. I drive quite mixed, but also regularly don't drive more than 20 minutes to and from the station for work. When I'm driving long distances, far superior. Same for the GT.
B) As treg has the 'sport' exhaust, a slightly more tame version of the competition - I've got the competition, the louder version.
The main questions you'd have would be drone - 0 @ <3k RPM 6th Gear doing 70
Gas pedal = happy pedal and now noisy pedal
Cold starts is loud, and revving anywhere over 4-5k RPM is enough to wake your younger brother up from sleeping at 7:30AM!
However, personally believe that the MF-Comp-Catback makes the ecoboost sound as close to a 'Mustang' as you're going to get, deeper tone, more bass-y, and turns peoples heads before you turn up.
The only video I've got is a cold start (I have a few revs on my driveway, but never uploaded to youtube!):
I also have a direct comparison with Big_G with his MF-Comp exhasust vs mine when it was stock - he's revving at 2k, I'm revving at 5-6k (He's DIB, I'm RR)
