UK Mustang delivery

Hi All,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Received confirmation that mine is booked to leave Baltimore on Tarago tomorrow! Well it originally said 21/6 but looking at Tarago's schedule it departs tomorrow. ETA to dealer on w/e 23rd July still seems a little optimistic looking at some peoples delivery times/nightmare's, but that's what I'm told, and I can keep hoping!

I think I've seen 1 other booked on Tarago, anyone else out there?

Had an email this morning at 10.30 from James at Epsom Ford: please call me urgently.
Called him. He had 19 Mustangs delivered today. picked the car up at 3.30 this afternoon, a few scratches and paint defects. Been out in it this evening done 80 miles. Gearbox seems rather noisy. Not going to worry about any faults at the moment just loved it.

What an evening went to dealership to collect car and the P***KS at santander blocked payment I called them up was on hold for 20 mins only to be told by there security team that the dealership had to call them to make payment go through like wtf !! .Anyway as it was late in evening and there accounts team had gone home I left without the car . I wouldn't mine I had called the bank days earlier to inform them I would be making a large payment. I have now sorted transfer and collect tomorrow .

Useless bankers. I called Halifax the morning of my collection day to give them advance notice, as I had to travel a long way for the car. Said they'd put a note on my account but it still might get blocked! It went through in the end, after a scare with the card reader

That sucks, I rang Santander and had to answer security questions they then rang me on the mobile number linked to my account to confirm that it was me. They then put the transfer through for me no problem.

Awesome, 3 of us then so far. Let's hope for a speedy crossing and trip through zeebrugge (a la Jimboy). Have you or [MENTION=23549]Harley103[/MENTION] been given an expected delivery date yet? My dealer still stands by w/e July 23rd, which as I mentioned before, can't really see happening.....

Ah, this happened to me on a bank transfer & is why I went & did all the finance a few days ago. Can't even spend your own money without BS these days. I know they're just looking after us but there was a minimum 15 minute wait to speak to someone (if it's urgent) & I was due out. Sorted in the end but took time. A head's up for anyone else methinks.

Hah, same here & I don't know if I am or not yet! Assuming PDI was okay, my local is getting her this morning so I've just emailed asking to pick up this afternoon. Bloody working tonight typically so tomorrow would technically be better but if I don't, I just know I'll be down there to have a gander. Would ruin the collection though.... wanna run over to her & drive away in one hit!

Latest info I have is end of July... originally when i placed the order I was looking at early September... so I'm keeping everything crossed for the new date!
