Gutted for you. Especially so close to delivery too. Joys of credit applications though. Have they offered you PCP or an alternative? PCP would lower the payment considerably and then you can buy it at the end. It's what I am doing.

Yeah that's option I'm trying now. Application has been sent off but I won't find out until tomorrow. Dealer is optimistic I'll get accepted but another nail biting night

Hi i was worried as I'd taken out alot of credit last year for home improvements and I'd been rejected by other car finance options but got accepted by ford quite easily

I feel like the PCP option would be the dealers favourite as there is a chance you hand the car back and walk away, so this may be easier to get accepted for.

The other method you are guaranteed the car at the end of the term so there isn't much in it for ford. Righ't?

But yeah I'm shitting it too lol got at least a month till I have to go through this

I told my dealer that I'm going in a week before delivery to make sure there's time to deal with any problems. He said I don't have to, "normally all done on hand-over" says he.
If there's even 1% chance of a hiccup that can delay me driving that car out of the door then I'll sort it a week before.
Just piece of mind & no reason why not

My dealer got me to complete the finance and get the approval right at the start when I ordered last September. When he phoned me a few weeks ago to say I had a VIN and a build date he said he'd resubmit the proposal as it had been 6 months. Left me all a bit confused really, and very bloody nervous come pick up time.

Went in today and had already been cleared for credit.
Was told should be on a boat from Zebrugge on the 10th.
Would be great if it was put on the one on the 3rd.

So, I finally picked it up today and got it home! A couple of minor panel fitment issues to be sorted but otherwise very happy...

Now for stripes, black pony, strut tower, CAI, GT350R wheel & shifter... etc.

quick up date dealer phoned this afternoon gt will arrive sometime tomorrow and if it early doors I could have the keys tomorrow night and if not then it's Saturday morning.....happy days

I got a good deal from HBOS for my loan apr 3.9 % very happy with that ford best offer was 5.9 % apr

Supposedly 3 hours until I can see mine and sign paperwork. Still not heard from dealer confirming its in...

Credit offers are usually 3 or 6 months which is why I didn't get checked at order. It should say on your quote if you got one.

Cool mine was about 3-4 weeks ago so should be fine by mid june when she arrives!
