If I had somewhere secure to park that didn't have a couple of dozen artics thundering past every day I would use it, but my current car literally has a layer of dust deposited on it twice a day. Want better for the Stang

Thanks :cheers: It's been long enough now that I've accepted it will arrive whenever it's ready! There's been no real point having a go at the dealer, the team there now are completely different to when the order was placed and are doing what they can to help. Just looking forward to getting it now!

This is my 4th now. Had a straight six XJS, two X350's & then this one. Going to be a bit of a wrench to leave Jaguar but it'll be another box ticked in lifes' list of 'wants'.
For sale next month then I'll be driving the Daughters 1.2 Corsa....... I think I may get a little more frustrated than you've been :frusty:

I strongly suspect David had the same issue as me where the paperwork sat languishing on 'Martin's' desk for months after he left the dealership. He was initially the so-called Mustang specialist, who was spectacularly useless at it.

The dealer admitted that mine was one of many that they'd failed to process (actually place contracted order with Ford) for 4 months.

The only solace in this is that their delay meant they paid a higher price for the orders, so they had to cover the difference in margin.

Ah yes, I remember about that. So that was you two guys was it? I take my hat off to you both. Here's hoping that they treat you well on collection day then (expect you will, they seemed okay when I met them).
Personally, I think the dealer should throw in a free service on year one for you but I doubt it.

In reality then someone's has actually done a decent job (I know :doh of getting you something like back on track. My order was February last year and is currently (hopefully) in a holding pattern somewhere above Southampton.
And my order was "transmitted" to Ford the day I placed the deposit and I had acknowledgement shortly after.

Just got an email from my dealer.

So my ETA has reduced by two weeks, and despite the car already being somewhere in the English channel, VISTA has only just updated to say it's only now just left the compound.[emoji14]

My Vista status read COMPOUND OUT ZEEBR CTO on Thursday last week and hasn't changed since. WWL track and trace updated to Delivered From on weds just gone. I took the liberty of contacting WWL to see if they could clarify anything and they seem to think my car has been at Southampton since the 11th. Me? I suspect it's still sat in a compound at Zeebrugge. Why? Because having been told by Karen/Stacey first that it WILL be on the vessel that departed yesterday and then that it MIGHT be on next Monday's sailing (without any vessel names) I'm now getting the silent treatment. Last time this pattern emerged, it the car was left to rot in Baltimore for weeks on end. I'm losing faith and close to cancelling the order as I am now without a car until it arrives. The logistics are a bit of a joke.

I'm in exactly the same boat as you (no pun intended) - and am also getting the silent treatment despite being told I would be updated (and that mine was on Fridays boat).

In addition I'm also car-less now and getting fu**ed off if I'm going to be unable to pick mine up on the 9th for my event

EDIT: Looking at it on my Desktop PC, yes that picture is gigantic. I took a screenshot of my phone when I was out and the resolution on the thing is 2560x1440 so, yes, very large screenshots.

Nice, the old straight 6 was a lovely refined thing! I'll have another one at some point, but I like trying all sorts of things that are different!

They say it went through before that, but you could be right, having had so many salesman I think whatever really happened has been lost in the mists of time now... Either way, they do seem to be doing the right thing now.
