Using this and ETIS it appears that there are cars built W/C 11th Jan being loaded. We might be back on track. :clap2:

My car was built on the 11th - not on WWL's shipping register yet but I'm cautiously optimistic that it'll be on this next ship out. If so then it matches the timing given to me by Stacy at Ford. She said it would be allocated to a vessel W/C the 1st or the 8th of February (storm permitting) - Fingers crossed!

Hopefully no one will turn around and go "oh so sorry, but your car was flooded because some daft apeth left the window down!"

In which I will respond "give me my money back or a Focus RS."

Mine's not on there yet (built 12th Jan). Nearest loaded VIN is 79 cars ealier (assuming chronological load which I doubt).

Mine was built 12th but not loaded yet. There is a car with a higher vin and a few near mine.

Whilst encouraging, I've been in this process long enough to know the news that other 11/1 builds were being loaded means nothing. I have everything crossed for us however.

Indeed - I'm fully expecting to be a boat or two behind cars that were built later, sometime in March at best. We'll see...

I received my VIN number today and estimated build date of the 29th of February (A leap year car?). And I'm happy with that as I placed my order on the 14th of August!

Get checking for your window sticker then. It should appear a week or two before the actual build date, which it shows.

I placed my order 5 days before yours (9th August) I got told by Stacey today that build due in March and I wasn't supplied a VIN....

Though it probably won't make you feel any better I ordered my car in June and it's not due to be built until March either!

How did you get your VIN number? My build date is around the 23rd Feb and I ordered through Gowrings Reading in July 15, did you order from the same dealer?

Ask Karen or Stacey, VIN is released c2Weeks before build date, window sticker pops up a week after that, sometimes Karen/Stacey will give you a partial VIN (not all 17 characters), but most of us on the forums can decode these for you and drop the extra characters in needed for the online systems (ETIS/WWL etc)

Just got an email back from Stacey.

Good morning,

I have not yet got a vessel allocated just yet, but I shall contact the docks for information on this and update you as soon as I have further information.

The storm did cause a delay on vessels, which the docks are currently catching up on.

Just did a quick search on WWL by lopping off the last 4 digits of my VIN. Two results - one car discharged at Zeebrugge (mid December build), the other loaded on vessel and build date of 11/1/16. Stuck that VIN into ETIS and this came up. Could be the reason our cars are not loaded onto this vessel, see highlight? Not an extensive investigation mind... ;)
