I have a VIN and been advised early March build, will just have to sit and wait now but still very excited. Shame my dealer cocked this up otherwise it would have been here for my 50th. Still it will be built in time for my Birthday I just won`t have it yet !

Isn't Zeebrugge the main entry point for all the US Ford imports into Europe? I would presume they just load up the ship with whatever cars are at the dock - regardless of LHD & RHD, and they then "split" into the different markets after undersealing.

Does the factory "set the laguages up" in the car, or does the dealer do the final localisation? There isn't really a difference between (say) a French, or a German, or a Swedish mustang - just the local handbook and language set up...

My ETIS showed: English Export RHD Owner Handbook so maybe the factory does it all, and each car is aimed at a "specific" custumer or country?

It's one of the main entry ports, the ships aren't Ford only cars, there's others on them, someone's car docked at UK shores before it hit Zebrugge (Can't remember whom). They're just ships in general, no specific cars on them at all.

PDI sets up the interfact of sync, the factory will put in the handbook (to my knowledge).

My ETIS shows the same RHD owner handbook, but that handbook is obviously different to the LHD owner handbook im assuming graphics will be different so will certain parts of the car.

Sounds like our cars will be making the journey together.

Might not be a UK bound car on that screenshot though...
Yes, that was kinda my point. Its an LHD car so will be bound for mainland Europe. I was suggesting that the w/c 11/1 build cars we're seeing being loaded are not for the UK market hence why our cars built that week are not included. Just looking for reasons to pass the time. No logic behind it

I don't know...it would be logistically easier to send batches of cars for the same market even though it would be fairer to send them in the order they arrived at the docks. As we already know there was no element of fair play involved in the build order my suspicions would be that they'll organise the shipping of vehicles in the most efficient manner available to them.

Just speculating...

Zebrugge is one of the main ports for most cars in Europe.

And yes, it's not only UK bound cars, Mustangs, RHD Mustangs, RHD Cars, Ford cars on that ship, it's a mix of loads of different brands, makes, designs, drive trains, drive sides etc.

Yes, but if there are, for example, 50 berths on a boat available and Ford has 75 LHD and 25 RHD vehicles at the port would they split it half and half or send all LHD? I don't know but experience is telling me they'd go all LHD.

Fk knows, i have no idea, by the sounds of it, it's lucky dip :frusty::lol:. I'd assume it doesn't matter which, LHD and RHD will all need the same treatment for mustangs (underspraying or whatever) so it's irrlevant which are RHD or LHD.

Do ending 4 numbers even mean anything? My vin ends 6870, but on WWL, there's cars with a higher final 4 digits than that showing as delivered...

The last 6 digits are the "sequential unit number" so I guess you need all 6 to know the actual sequence order.
