You can, but some people are a bit protective of their VIN number as it's a public forum, I don't personally know what someone can do with your VIN - but i'd rather not take the risk, hense why i'd said PM for your own security & privacy

Does it take a while for WWL shipping to update their tracking system? Mine doesn't show up on the tracking search. It probably missed the boat knowing my luck.

WWL updates when a car is booked onto their service which would be a couple of days before sailing. But if your car goes by K-Line there is no point in looking at the WWL site ;)

I think from the other comments here there is understandable over-optimism about how long this takes. It took a week from my car to move 500 miles on the train from factory to docks. Gate released on 10 December, it got on a ferry on 4 January and I think that was fast!

The wait times at the docks do seem eternal. I was kinda hoping that they'd speeded things up but i remember a post on the Europe forum by a US guy, [MENTION=16952]Glenn G[/MENTION], stationed in Germany about logistics that as I remember it said that our cars are the cheapest/lowest priority and anything else that comes along bumps them down the queue. So I guess it takes as long as it takes to get a spot on a boat.

I'd hazard a guess that it was meant to go on that boat, but got cancelled because of the storm that closed the port.

Or the even worse case, issue with your car and they've sent it back to flat rock - hope this isn't the case.

Does it? Looks like it's was received and then they sent it back, idk why though. Karen and Stacey is better than me shooting guesses.

Nope. Tis WWL! Its written on the window sticker. If you import the PDF into a vector illustration program like Inkscape or Adobe Illustrator, you can delete the grey box in the bottom left corner and see your basic shipping info.

It is sold to Ford UK, will ship via the Export Centre and will be delivered to WWL shipping services.

P.S. Inkscape on a Mac is a little finicky. So "Ship Through" looks a tad garbled.

Think it's been said earlier in this mammoth thread; all the window stickers say WWL as they run the the facility at the dock. It doesn't necessarily men your car will get onto one of their ships. Not sure exactly how this is determined, I think VINs are drawn out of a hat once cars are at the docks.

Keep us updated hammer time, im defo meant to be on that boat too, ive got the same info on my tracking page, but i think i agree with manders...doesnt sound good, and if that car parks 30 inches in snow it would be impossible to load them on.

Get outta town! PM FordService and ask them what the issue is. I assume it's bad information. There would have to be a fairly major issue to have it put back 4 months.
