So here's the dilemma I'm facing: I'm ordering a GT PP with track package and I can't decide what exterior color I want. It's down to Black, Deep Impact Blue or Ruby Red. I've seen them all in person so I know what they look like but for the life of me I can't make a decision. Wife doesn't care as long as I'm happy so at least I have that going for me lol.

Oh, guess I should mention the future exterior plans I have for the car...Roush front fascia, wing, hood scoop, heat extractors and rocker winglets.

Pros: Black just looks mean...especially with the Roush kit. Ruby Red and DIB looks gorgeous in bright sunlight with varying shades depending on angle.

Cons: Black and Blue are a PITA to keep clean and free of swirl marks. Ruby Red will most likely be a cop magnet and adds to the cost of the car note. (not a big deal really)

Obvious this is a subjective question...but inputs are appreciated, and please keep it PC! :)

In my opinion that Roush font fascia only works well in black.

Of the three, Ruby Red would be my choice if Black is a color that gets to dirty for u

I've seen all three in person and IMO Deep Impact Blue is very eye catching. A co-worker of mine has a DIB Fusion and it looks amazing no matter the amount of sun shine it receives, easily the most eye catching car in the lot based on color alone.

You've got 3 votes and all for a different color.

You're screwed! Hahahaha!

Just pick one and you will not be disappointed. I had the same debate, and was worried about remorse about not getting the right color.

You can't lose with any S550 to be honest.

DIB is the only correct answer however.

If it makes it any easier, I'll tell you that Ruby Red shows dirt pretty easily as well! But I just love the color.

out of those 3, DIB because RR looks nothing like RR on an ugly day.

and black is prettiest on the showroom floor and the dirtiest off.

I would go with Ruby Red out of those choices. Black is a pain in the ass.

LOL I like the myriad of responses. I currently own a black car but I don't take care of it at all so I won't let that influence me against black. With my last new car I washed it nearly every weekend, I'm more concerned about it showing swirl marks.

Anyone have inputs as to paint imperfections with either of the three? The dealer models I looked at were all parked outside so it's hard to find issues when there's a layer of dust/dirt on it.

My favorite color is blue and I've always wanted a blue car but DIB is so so bad. So dark it hardly shines and can't see the lines of the car. Just s little lighter blue and it wouldn't have been a decision at all. When I see any mustang in DIB i want to hurl. Such a pretty car in such an ugly color. When I see the purple spots that's when I really want to spew.
