Trying to get into the game, but the problem i have is a good problem.

The choices of tuners here are really good! It would be awesome to try out the different ones and know what they are like. Everyone has been helpful and assuring me that pretty much anywhere I go, I should be happy over stock and make the driving i do (DD, occasional spirited driving) equal or in some ways superior to the GT.

The three I am looking at all use a different device to tune the car making it more difficult.

It seems opening up the torque to this thing makes the traffic lights and general driving a real fun time.

I want my car to be a beast (safely ) that I can let loose and throw me in my seat as well as the occasional co pilot. And, most importantly, put a stupid grin on my face every time a push the gas pedal...

Thoughts? How did you decide?

Utilizing our 93 octane performance tuning, you can see peak vs. peak gains up to 62 wheel horsepower over stock, and 90 Ft. Lbs of torque, with max gains of a over 109hp and 100 Ft. lbs of torque. My sales pitch isn't what really matters.

I had a tuned GT before my Ecoboost. It was a 2014. I have Adam's entire tune combo currently (ECU/trans/meth to come later). The eco has more low end than the GT and weighs less which allows it to be faster off the line and in low speed scenarios. The GT's top end is insane though, and really shines in "I'm going to jail if I get caught doing this" speeds.

I had an SCT tuner on the GT and didn't like it very much. It was kind of clunky to use and the data-logging was awkward. The Cobb unit is much faster, and way more reliable. It has on the fly map switching which allows me to switch between a 93 power tune, an e30 tune, a meth tune, and an economy tune in 2 seconds and even while I'm driving. However it also more money. I've never used an nGauge or the LMS tuner so no opinions there, but between Cobb and SCT I would choose Cobb every time.

I liked the Cobb as well, but the tune is more important to me. Good tune, you dont need to look at thing all the time.

I use Lund Racing BTW. I think all the tuners out there are really good. But Jon truly understands that I care only to go fast, so we see eye to eye better.

We don't take it as a knock at all. We do not feel that watching gauges is necessary while you are driving. Function over form has always been our style. Is that to say that at some point in the future we will not update our interface, no. Our business model has always been about being more engrossed in performance before moving on to the more flashy side of things.

Im all about the business of going fast too, your on the same page as I as well. Not interested in exhaust sound clips, painted rotors, or 20" wheels. You and Torrie were one of my choices on a tune, had it not been for the UPR car going so fast, I would have not chose Lund. But, as it is now. I really am happy where I am now, Jon is a super guy and a great tuner. As I said, I think each tuner has its merits, do your research and choose wisely.

The car is very fun to drive and surprises many people. Just ask the owner of that 370Z I smoked last month :lol:. Now I'm hoping that LMS can provide a tune for the new turbo I have preordered ;).

I've been with Torrie since my Focus ST. He's always answered all of my stupid questions, his responses are always quick, and I've always been happy with his tunes. As far as the devices, I've never had a situation where I wished I could change from one tune to another on the fly and I'm fckn illiterate when it comes to cars so to see a bunch of readings on a device's screen does nothing for me because I don't know or care what any of it means. So I just download the 93S tune, run it for a few weeks, download the E30 tune, run it for a few weeks, back and forth. My car will more than likely never see a dyno or a dragstrip but it is pretty damn fast and it has surprised a few V8s out there and that's what matters to me.

This is my first Mustang, and first sports car. I have never had anything but 4 cylinder cars and bought the car for its potential. Also I love the wheels and the pony on the back of the car more than the letters GT.

I hate the same two questions I get every time someone hears I have a Mustang. 1. Is it a V8? 2. Is it stick?

Even looked at a GT that is going for a good deal but took the advice of a friend. If your going to do something bad, do it well. Now he was suggesting I go GT, but I thought about it and decided to take that to heart with what I have.

Currently have a MAP exhaust installed (Love it!), a MAP IC needing to be installed as well as plugs.

Ordered a Cobb, stainless works DP and JLT CAI.

Adam, your next my friend! The challenge will be to make my thought of trading in for a GT a WTF moment.

I'm ready to have a stupid grin every time I get in my car. Hope you won't disappoint!

Awesome decision. I have a sct because that is what my tunner used but I think the cobb is a nicer piece of hardware. For me the big decision was to find a tunner that has good communication and that also knows what they are doing. I have the Bamma tune and a tune I had done locally on a dyno the dyno tune is much better then the bamma tune because it was made for my specific car. I can feel a big difference when I switch tunes. Hear great things about Adam as well so sure his tune will be awesome. Welcome to the addiction!!
