Udgo always powered?

My base GT doesn't have this "problem", although I'd like it to. The door opener clipped to the visor doesn't turn off.

My Escape, which does live outdoors has Homelink and it doesn't shut off.

My GF had a Subaru with Homelink that was only active with the ignition on and it was a PITA. You had to start the door closing before turning it off, etc.

I'm OK with it. The cars are harder to break into than the garage door - [ame="[MEDIA=youtube]hhRqbvJ82rs[/MEDIA]"]

After further testing. The garage door opener will time out after about ten minutes if you've locked your car. This is excellent!

I tested it with the top down so I could just reach in and check. If car is unlocked it will operate as normal.
