Sorry guys, but I just want to confirm something before I drop the £1000 for some tyres.

I have 10.5 and 9.5 x 20, et 45 and 33 respectively.

If I go for 305/30 and 265/35 conti 6’s will they rub at all on a 40mm lowered car?

Thanks in anticipation of many replies.

why on earth so narrow up front, as for rub it all depends on camber :) best off asking some of the yanks in the aggressive fitment thread they run 305's all the time on there.

Set up depends on wheels / tyres, suspension set up and alignment.

The issue with tyres especially is that the numbers are not empirical, they are just a guide.

One 305/35/20 by say Conti maybe significantly different to a 305/35/20 from Michelin fro example. Michelins tend to run very big size wise, so for example we run 295/35/20 on our Q500 (with Velgen wheels) and its bang flush perfection, whereas in US we often run 305/35/20 or 315/35/20 Nittos
