Manders you mention fins inside the wing mirrors. My car deliverd May '16 has 4 horizontal raised lines about 20mm long on the inside edges of the mirror casing. If this is what you refer to any idea of function?

That's them, they're basically meant to reduce wind noise. I say meant to because it's unproven :lol:
