Anyone else have the electronic TurboSmart EM VR2 BOV? When I had it installed it compressor surged all the time unless I hit 10+ psi for it to finally open. It sounds cool, but I know its not good for the turbo.
Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same issues with the valve since I can't find much on it. I've found videos of the same valve on the Focus and they all keep saying its "normal" cause they love the sound.
I kind of feel like any BOV with a stiffer spring whether electronic or not is going to introduce some of this.
I did like how it didn't pop off like 50 times on my way to work though
