Need some suggestions on my mostly stock 2015 EB.. I left work today and the blow off valve started fluttering when I let off the gas. I have an intake on the car and it normally makes a nice solid noise when I let off the throttle. I drove about 30 miles got home let the car sit for about 15 mins started it up and it was fine. Is the BOV going bad? Have 60k on the car now.

I'd check for a vacuum leak, next I'd take off the BOV and make sure that it works properly. By that I mean make sure that it stays open when in vacuum and closes when not. You can take the vacuum line off of the BOV, put your finger over the hole, and the valve should stay open. If it closes while you have your finger plugging the vacuum port, the BOV or the diaphragm inside (if it has one, not sure what ecoboost BOVs look like) is bad.

Are you running a mechanical vacuum bov or are you still using the computer controlled valve?

Ugg I have another issue with the purge valve not working properly (changing that this weekend and the fuel sensor) Getting frustrated with the car. I'll check that out when I work on the car this weekend.
