so there were some great news today of Whipple Supercharger being developed for the 5.0.

personally I'm not much of a supercharger fan...
Has anyone heard of any Turbo news for the new 5.0?

Nobody has their hands on car to see just how cramped the new engine bay is yet.
That said, we're already talking about a customs setup for my car at my shop.
I'm sure JPC, Hellion etc will develop a marketable kit if it is possible.

Anything is possible. It's much easier to design a supercharger setup when the engine already exists(Coyote) that the blower will simply bolt to, whereas a turbo is very much dependent on the entire chassis for the fitting of pipes and supplemental cooling/oil supply. Since Ford Racing already works with Whipple it makes sense for them to share info to have marketable kits out as soon as possible. If there were a turbo S550 V8 coming out I'd bet on Ford engineering the setup in-house and sell it as a high-performance model and not just an add-on kit.

Better to simply wait for the car to go on sale instead of speculating on stuff like this now.
