I see older threads about tuning a stock car, but nothing newer than 2017. Is a stock ‘20 worth tuning? Not really planning on doing any mods anytime soon. Thanks.

If you have drive modes already stock then its Not really worth tuning. If you want drag mode then a tuner can do that for you but then again if the cost is worth it will be up to you. Again minimal gains hp wise unless you mod and tune or go e85

Thanks. Not able to go e85 though.

As stated, its absolutely worth tuning if you are going to use e85. Completely different car even all else stock. Also worth it if it's a base car with no drive modes. As with out the modes the standard drive is rather sluggish (unless boosted).

A stock coyote regardless of the generation is most certainly worth tuning. There is still a lot left on the table from the factory. If you'd like to get a tune setup, or have questions about them, hit me up, we have several different tuners. Lethalperformance.com

I just ordered a Lund flex fuel tune. I only have a Xpipe and injen cold air intake(sealed box). I made 428whp sae. Curious what it will make after. Also ran a 11.867@118 1.8s 60ft
I bet you'll be in the 460ish whp range on good e. 1/4 should drop too.

Be curious your idle/driveability on that intake with E85. Best of luck. Probably the best looking intake setup out there imo.

There are certainly gains to be had with a tune even on a stock coyote. You'll get some good power even with simple mods like changing to E85 or installing a larger cold air intake. Give us a shout here at Lethalperformance or give us a call at tel:1.877.253.8425 if you have any questions about tunes or modding.

I've used Unleashed Tuning on my '17 V6, '19 EB, Coyote3, and LT1. The EB is very significantly better now in power delivery and driveability. The Coyote3 revs faster and cleaner. Not necessarily any more power (haven't dyno'd) but I like it. The LT1 also improved power delivery. All that to say yes, a tune can be quite helpful. A stock Coyote3 can run an E30 tune if that is your want.
