Tuning And ESP

So now that I am in Florida I want to get my M1 tuned by Wengerd. My warranty expires in January 2026 but I also have an ESP on the car. I know there’s always been a lot of talk about tuning your car will void the warranty. I’m not worried about that at all but does it mess with an ESP at all or is it basically the same thing.

Tuning won't necessarily void your warranty alltogether, but any work that you may need to the powertrain will most likely get denied due to the tune especially if it's something major like needing a whole new engine. ESP is no different than the original FoMoCo warranty.

Yeah. I’m still only at 16,000 miles and I don’t want the car to be sitting there and not have all the potential that it needs. I loved the tune on my 2019 and did that within the first year of the warranty. I think I’m just gonna go for it.
