Tuneless CAI

I do plan on possibly tuning my GT later on but for now i'm wondering which Intakes are truly tuneless? I've heard that airaids are are there any others?

On a side note, Has anyone heard anything more about Ford Racings Cold air kits and tunes?

i'm looking to make my Borla Cat-back sound as mean as possible as soon as I can but I really don't want to tamper with the computer of the vehicle right away.

The Steeda CAI comes with a restrictor to use with either no tune or base tune. However, when you go to have a tune made at a future time, just pull the restrictor for full power gains. This was my plan as I was/am hesitant to tune right away.

Yes it is. You can tune it or leave as no tune.

Exactly, you can run our CAI with restrictor and won't need to tune your car! Feel free to pm me with any questions

Extremely lean conditions that could result in engine damage would occur if you run the CAI without the restrictor and proper tune. Yes, our kit allows you to remove the need for the sound tube.

yeah, I am still debating if I want to pay $350 for a CAI without a tune. If I a not getting much more performance with it and not tune, what's the point? I am sure it will look and sound good though.

I have my finger on the trigger for a steeda CAI, this will be my first Mod!

Ford engineered a part that pumps induction noise into the cabin to add some sound they thought was missing. It's a stock part that a lot of people remove as it clutters the engine bay, etc.
