Not quite.

That just means the engine doesn't have a restriction on the intake side.

You'd have to do a bunch of math to figure out the VE
Yeah, I was just relying on my memories of helping my friend tuning his cars with Megasquirt about 12+ years ago. I remember VE tables being 0-100 kpa for N/A or something like that.

I was referred to Black Market Racing and they were the closest to me. On previous cars I did most of my dynos at DynoComp and many mass dyno days around the valley.

Can't believe how much getting a 3 pull baseline dyno cost now!
Yeah everything is crazy $$$ anymore. I like BMR though. They dyno'd my gt and civic last spring.

Firebird just cancelled Friday Night Drags. I'll have to wait until 12/12. I wish Speedworld was still open, I always ran my best times there.

I wish I knew where the car meet/street races were at so I can compare my car against some others. Haven't been out to any in 11+ years!

MPT and I still could not figure out the single knock at 5500rpm. It happens in each gear at the same RPM and stops. We tried it with the stock tune and with 100 octane with the stock and 91 tune, still there. On the dyno you can see the drop. It drops 10hp and makes up 20hp after. If I didn't have that drop it would have probably made 275-280+hp?

Well I finally made it to the track. It was so packed, only got 3 runs in 6 1/2 hours!
60' - 2.15
1/8 - 91.38 @ 78.62
1/4 - 14.09 @ 99.86
DA - 1426

I was at least hoping to break into the 13's. Trying to find the right RPM to launch but MPT's throttle response is so sensitive it was hard to keep a steady rpm. It felt like it was bogging a little on the launch and had bad wheel hop into 2nd. My rear bushings are completely shot.
I tried to use the Track App during the runs to check the accuracy, but it failed to record each time.

Anyone have any ideas about that knock at 5500RPM? Diagnosing options?

Here is a new dyno with GT throttle body added and updated tune and the last dyno sesion. I pulled the "Dyno Plug" but it appears that that wasn't affecting the last dyno. I still have the (false?) knock at 5500 RPM, but it wasn't pulling as much timing this time. I assume it's a resonance from something at that RPM? I've checked everything I could reach, and used a borescope to look around the intake/heads for any loose bolt or nut.

I think this is kind of low results for a nearly FBO - MPT 91-PRX tuned 3.7. (FBO with shorty headers and stock intake manifolds) I didn't port my intakes because there was no more than a finger nail thickness at the seems and the lower was basically port matched to the heads except for very corners of the ports(also about a finger nail thickness).

Every other N/A 3.7 dyno sheet I've looked at has more HP than Torque, but mine is reversed?

How much slop is there in the cam timing from the factory? Maybe yours are advanced

I don't know? Never heard about cam slop?
