Mods you regret on doing 3.7 ??

Roush intake is only okay. Great sound initially, but agreed, it does lose it's luster once you get used to it and for the proposed gains, it's hasn't been entirely worth it. Once you add an exhaust, it's not doing too much for the experience. Currently running the stock airbox as part of a troubleshooting experiment and not missing it a ton.

And I'm a little on the fence about my 20" Velgens. Maybe it's the weight of the 20s but they seem to bog the V6 down a bit. Might look into a Pedal Commander to see if it would help. Would consider 19s next time, especially since with all-seasons I could run them year round.

Lastly, the cruising sound of the Borla Touring is definitely awesome, but doing it all over, I might have gone with the S-type for a little more growl overall. At this point I might add an h-pipe and see where that takes it.

I was thinking of doing a H with my Roush AB but the Roush is already loud enough. If I add an H am I actually just making everything louder or am I just changing the tone? Thoughts?

I'd be willing to argue my Roush is just as loud as your Atak. It's a lot louder than I thought it would be lol Lots of rasp for sure.

Taking out the crap resonator will make it louder no matter what you put in. H = deep and throaty. X = higher and raspy. Its all a matter of opinion on which you prefer. For a v6 I prefer the H.

From what I have heard Roushs are the loudest then outlaws then ataks. All are "loud" though. Personally I think the outlaws are only loud when you mash it, but that is just me.

I've actually seen a tri-bar pony label on a V6 where the 5.0 would go and I thought it looked pretty good.

I think the tirbar matches more than the 3.7 emblem. The 3.7 emblems do not look bad but the tribar looks way better.

I got had the roush ab with bbk shortys and loved the sound but wanted it a bit louder, so I bought a $100 h-pipe and it sounded like shit mostly because the welds were bad on the pipe, also I've read the if you go with the roush ab your better off with an xpipe instead cause the roush are raspy and so are xpipes, so I grabbed a heartthrob xpipe and man its night and day. It's definitely alot louder, especially wot it screams.
It's very raspy and pops a lot, but I do get a little annoyed on the 75 mile road trips I take, almost regretable but as soon as I hop back in the next morning I smile when it starts up... I can try to take a sound clip for you

I might actually add two Vibrant resonators. I like the rasp, but I want to dampen it just a little bit. I'll probably do it after the Holidays.

Yes. I don't remember if the stock midpipe (resonator) was clamped or welded. Sorry it was a year ago.

Its up to you . Im sure itll come with clamps whichever you buy but you can always weld it if you wanted to.
