Hi All,
I've followed these forums for quite a while and learned so much I wanted to give back some of my own experiences to help out others. My car is a 2017 GT Premium with a A6 and 3.55's.
My first trip to PBIR I had made these mods:
Lund FF tune, Ported 18 Manifold, Texas Speed no cat LT's, PMAS tune required cold air, Race Star 17X10.5 with MT SS 305-45-17, BCRacing coil overs, 3 inch electric cutouts, Steeda IRS bushing support, Steeda IRS alignment kit, Steeda subframe braces. Here is the best run:
DA: 2100 feet
[email protected] 1.986 60 foot
A little disappointed but the car was getting grip initially and then spinning. More work to do.
For my second trip to PBIR I added these changes: Viking Crusaders set at C2/R6, RaceStar skinnies, Removed back seat, sub and tire kit and raised the front end 1 inch. Here are the results:
DA: 800 feet
[email protected] 1.894 60 foot
The spinning was gone but 60 foot was still not what I expected. So I added a CircleD 4C, Baer Eradispeed rotors front and back and removed the passenger seat. Here are the results:
DA: 1100 feet
[email protected] 1.629 60 foot
All of the runs were on E85 , cutouts open, and foot braking to 1500 RPM.
I have a Meziere EWP and shaftmaster DS coming this week hoping to get back out to the track next week I will update my progress with those changes. Also installing a 2 step and transbrake. I'm hoping with figuring out the optimal launch RPM tuning the rear shocks and some good DA I inch a little closer to 10's.
