Best gear to run with 19 10 speed NA 1/4 mile

I just bought a new 19 GT with auto, what is the best gear to run for drag racing.I plan on adding the normal Bolt on's and tires. The car has a 3:15 now.3:55,3:73?

Leave the gears alone. Is it a toggle drag mode car or base?? If 300a then a E85 tune will be your best bang for the buck.

I ran 11.92 bone stock on factory P Zeros with 3.55's and I weighed 340# then.

i went 12.0 on stock 235 PJunks with a 3:15 base car. Then 11.7's with just an e85 tune on the same tire. Then 11.5's with a drag radial then 11.3's with some suspension. Your 3:15 gear is plenty fine.

I would leave the gears alone. Just use whatever the car came with and go E85 and drag pack.

With that said, I think 3.55 is best all around gear for N/A 10R80. 11.06 @ 125 E85, JLT, seats out, and traction.

Thanks for the help , I live in Colorado and the tracks I will run are at 5000 ft. For now I am going to run NA but would think that 3:55 might be a better way to go. Suggestions?

Interesting was your buddy having traction issues and were you both stock?

I’m interested in this same thing as well. I would’ve thought the 3.55 would be faster from a dig but maybe slower from a roll?

Stangmode went to 3.15 and slowed down compared to the 3.55s on the track. He was running low 11s at the time.

That said on the street I prefer 3.15.

Raced a buddy in his 19. Same car 301a. His has 3.55 mine has 3.15.

From a dig I beat him every time. From a roll it’s completely even.
