Thanks for all of the replies. As some of you suggested, but one person got right, the car hasn't arrived yet. I did get an updated date of 8/11, 5 days sooner than I last time. I have a stick bag. My main concern was getting the bag in without messing up the trunk seal.
I don't know how big a hockey gear bag is, because I'm in southeast texas where hockey just isn't a thing, but I can fit two golf bags (big cart bags at that) in my truck, along with the 10" sub, with no problem. There is still room for the 5 pairs of golf shoes and misc other nonsense that stays in my trunk. at one time, I had 2 sets of irons, a couple of drivers and a fairway wood loose in the truck, along with 2 backs full of sticks, and the afore mentioned items and still had room to spare.

And I too have had a 7'6" fishing rod in the trunk with the seats folded down.

I guess I never realized how big the trunk was. A hockey bag can be decent size, think I may need to switch to a shorter bag height wise. You have the Dallas Stars in Texas. My sticks are about 65" and 3 of them. Guess I need to be careful stuffing things in.

I am able to stuff my bag in no problem. I fold down the passenger seat pass through for my sticks and the sit along the passenger door sill.

I have had worse cars to play hockey with, most notably my 1989 LX coupe. THAT was a small trunk.

Frankly I'm surprised the sticks don't fit in the trunk without folding down the seats. The trunk is huge in our cars! Way bigger than I will ever need.
Agreed I can wedge two sets of golf clubs in there - if they are in smaller golf bags.
