Trunk open warning light & disappeared parking sensor lines

Hi.
I have a 2016 GT convertible.
The trunk open warning light is on all the time even when the truck is closed & parking sensor lines have disappeared.
Noticed it after got the air conditioner gas topped up and change of all four tyres at the same time. Can’t think of how they can be linked.
Any ideas??

The parking lines go off automatically even if the truck is unlatched, but not open (I thought mine had broken ... )

If you fix the trunk warning light, I'm pretty confident your parking lines will return

I don't know for sure, but I suspect that as it's showing the trunk open light, there is a sensor or switch somewhere (in the latch mechanism ?) that has become broken or loose.

I guess that sensor or switch is responsible for throwing the light, which in turn shuts off the parking lines.

It's a 1st generation s550. They were susceptible to the wiring in the harness from the body to the trunk lid breaking. That would be the first place I'd look.
