I've seen it irl twice now and I can assure you Triple Yellow looks nothing like these pictures. Irl it's much lighter and much more pale. I would grade it even a tad lighter than 94 Canary Yellow.
Did you see it indoors at a show under very cool lighting? Most of the pictures from various shows have a color balance that is far from neutral.

Both indoors (Geneva) and outdoors (Empire State Building).

From the My Ford Magazine article...

One thing the eye doesn’t miss on entering the studio is the extraordinary yellow of the ’15. It isn’t a faint-of-heart canary yellow. It’s a yellow for true aficionados—Lampinen informs me that there is, in fact, a Yellow Mustang Car Club. “Color is a very passionate thing with people,” she says. “We wanted a high-impact yellow. At first we developed a base coat/clear coat but it wasn’t bright enough, so we worked with engineering and suppliers until we came up with this new yellow, a tri-coat yellow.” The deep and intense new shade is reminiscent of the kind of multicoated treatment hot-rodders used on their rides back in the day.

While I like what the My Ford magazine article says, it doesn't seem to hold much weight when you see the massive variances in photos. Compare these two that were directly next to each other on this very page.

They aren't even close to one another in the apparent shade of yellow. The first picture looks great. A nice, dark mustard-y yellow. The second one, which appears to be an outdoor, sunlit shot, shows a much lighter shade of yellow. If it were to look like the first picture while outdoors in natural light, I'd be all over this color.

Amen brother. Unfortunately it doesn't even remotely look like that first picture. And despite all the marketing blaba by miss Lampinen Triple Yellow doesn't look anything special whatsoever. The yellow on the Camaro looks better, the yellow on the Corvette looks better and the yellow on the limited edition Yellow Jacket Challenger looks heaps and bounds better.

I am seriousy considering ordering a white one and having it painted a decent deep yellow myself because otherwise I already know I will be disappointed every day when I step up to my 2015.

I guess it's just me but to me,

this color

looks better than this:

I'm a fan of more pure yellow. The other one looks almost grabber orange. Warm is better than pale yellow but I'm tired of colors that all look alike. CO has that issue with the reds too.

I am confused. This is a 50th anniversary edition correct? So why is it yellow? It only came in White and Kona blue. Did something change between Monday and now?

It's the 50th anniversary package (not limited edition) on a regular GT. Just an appearance package. One of the options when ordering any of the cars. Note the lack of chrome around the tail lights, and no louvered quarter window.

Oh okay. Thank you for the info and not flaming me as well. I think the yellow is the best color for this car hands down. But that Competition Orange and red look great too.

The top pic was taken with a filter setting on the camera. You can tell by looking at the surroundings in the picture. Everything is Duller and Darkened. The Pic of the Faux Gas Cap is going to be What to Expect Triple Yellow to look like on a clear sunny day. You can judge that from the reflections in the chrome. To Me, I like the Brighter (Not Lighter) Yellow in the Second Pic over the More Orangish Yellow caused by the Filter in the Top Pic.
