Can anyone lend some help in how to remove or adjust the triangular door window trim piece? Not sure of it's official name as I've seen it called several things in my search.

My driver's side piece is out of position, but not loose at all. There is a piece on the driver door panel that looks removable without pulling the whole panel....or if it's even necessary to gain access. If the whole panel has to come off so be it, but hoping not, or maybe it just pops out from the exterior?

Any help would be appreciated. Pretty sure it's causing a whistle at hwy speed and driving me nuts lol.

I found the part after a lot more searching. Named 'filler' part number 63214a63 in case anyone else needs it.

Most likely one of the tabs broke somehow on mine. Ordered a new one and will pull the old one off when new piece arrives. If anyone has tips on removing it though feel free to lmk.

I do not have experience with that specific piece. But it does look like it just pulls off.

The metal clip in the middle of the triangle helps hold the item to the car. The tabs help hold the long end flush along the A-pillar.

I'd try grasping the existing piece with your fingers on the edge along the glass and pulling off.

There are plastic interior trim removal tools, but I would not use them. One edge has the two tabs, so this end isn't readily moving. One edge is against the glass; prying here is prone to breaking the side glass itself. One edge is against the rubber trim; prying here you could mar the rubberized trim surface.

The same style of clips hold the interior trim pieces to the car. It's often an exercise of gentle, modulated pressure to pull the bits off.
