took it to the dealer
drove with the technician; he suggested to drive it for a while and let the gears mesh;
if i push the shifter to the drivers side the noise disapears
and yes I have to listen for it with the radio off and in normal mode otherwise I can't hear it ; so maybe im being too picky ?
however i do have the warrenty
I'll revisit the issue in the spring :0

I understand u. I am super picky for noises in the car.

I noticed a mild whirl noise from 1st to 2nd on my initial drives last night. I did right away think of MT82 whirl noises (which were much more severe) in the GTPP I had for a weekend back in May. I'm not concerned about it though. Love the tranny in the GT350.
