At how many miles should u get your 1st Ford Mustang GT Tranny maintenance service?

I'm shooting for 12K miles, complete trans/brake fluid swap. I think it's fine to wait until 20K or more though.

The manual says 150,000 miles for manual and auto (and filter) trans fluid under normal driving conditions (daily driver) and 50-60,000 under "special driving" conditions (hard driving aka track)

Unless you race/track it, or insect it and it looks discolored, then there's no reason to change it out until 50k at least.

Page 419-421 has the service periods for everything but oil.
