Traction Control Light

I used to have a 2015 Ecoboost and when i would take off quick, the tires would spin and the traction control light would come on. (in sport mode). Now i have a 2016 GT and under the same circumstances the traction control light does not turn on. Is this a difference between 2015 and 2016? Ecoboost vs GT? Is there an issue with the traction control in my GT?

Does anybody with a GT have the traction control light come on when they break tires lose?

Just because you "spin the tires" doesn't mean 'Traction Control' cares. It tends to care when one tire spins more/less than the others.

Hmmm...good point. I used to see it alot with my Ecoboost. I've never seen it on my GT. Sounds like I might need to get it a little squirrelly!

I see it from time to time in my 17 GT.

I rarely saw it kick on when stock but throw some ethanol and a tune in the mix and it's quite easy to get the traction control light going crazy now.
