Mine completed production on 9/12 and is still awaiting shipment. It is going to Galpin Ford in LA CA. Hope I join the in transit this week!!??
Im in the same boat as you. I originally order retail from Galpin Ford on 7/21 but still hadn't been assigned a VIN 'til this day. So I looked up dealer inventory near me and South Bay Ford was getting almost the same car, but black instead of ruby red. I called them up and placed a deposit on it to reserve it. Now I'm anxiously waiting for the car to come it.

VIN: 1FA6P8TH0F5302766

It still says awaiting shipment even though it was completed on 09/08. I'm not complaining though, because at least now I have VIN, a car that's made, and awaiting shipment. haha. I'm wondering when ours will move onto "in transit". Hopefully we will see some movement tomorrow.

Congrats on that! Mine was a similar situation. Yes hopefully for both of us we will see movement this week. I just sold my car yesterday so now I am in a borrowed car from my father-n-law and hope it does not go too long.

Fellow SoCal folks: I placed my order for a Ruby Red GT Premium with PP through Galpin Friday. Salesperson said he expected getting a VIN this week... who knows.

Congrats! Good luck guys on getting yours soon. Love to see 'em.

Everyone else: Galpin in the San Fernando Valley here in SoCal is the largest Ford dealer in the world :ford:. We'll see if it helps with expediting orders! They are also tightly affiliated with GAS (Galpin Auto Sports), well known for custom cars and mods. Many of you may know this already.

Stock orders that where built just after ok to buy got LUCKY! Lol those cars shipped right away. I am a cust order since may. My build week is in oct. But should ship right away. I feel bad for the stock order guys built in August. Those cars might sit until late oct going through QC before being sent out! I hope we all see in transit soon! Congrats on In Transit!!!! Thanks luck has never been on my side but I'm starting to think I could be the first person with one since I'm so close to flat rock. Either way I'm heading to milan dragway to do some testing cheers!!!

is your build date 9/19 or 9/23? The way I read this is that the car is "in Production" being made and was completed on 9/23... just curious. Also, how soon from when your VIN was issued to the "in Order Processing"? Again curious, since my VIN just showed up today. I was wondering if there is a 2 day gap from VIN issue to "in Order Processing" and then a 4 day gap to "in Production" completion. So basically 6 days from VIN issue to in Transit... that is what I am hoping.

His build date was 9/23.

The first date is when the processing is finished. This is also the day the window sticker link becomes available. On the window sticker is a blend date, this is the estimated build date of the car.

The second date is when the car is finished being built. This will be very close to the blend date that is on the window sticker.

There is no set gap between dates. I got my VIN on 9/25. My first date (processing) will be around 10/24 (a guess). The build date will be around 10/28 (another guess). I'm basing these guesses on the fact that I have a current estimated build week of 10/26.

Does anyone know the flat rock assembly plant working/building hours? My car's production completed yesterday, a Saturday which I find to be a little odd. Wasnt it Henry Ford who standardized the 5 day work week. Lol

I'm certainly not complaining it just makes me question the accuracy of COTUS.

*edit- just read a whole lot of reviews on glassdoor and indeed of working at frap and multiple mentioned the weekend hours so it's all good.

COTUS is most likely down for maintenance. Hopefully we will see some progress on tracking once it's live again :clap2:

Holy crap, that's awesome. Just a week from build to ship. That renews my hope that I might have my car by the end of October...
