Hey Guys.

I'm hoping someone may have already tried these wheels before I buy a set for my track setup.

Wheels:
AMR Wheel - 19 x 10
http://www.americanmuscle.com/charcoal-amr-19x10-2015.html

I'd like to run them front and back as a square setup. I know they won't be the lightest wheels but my big question is will these fit in the front of the car without any issues?

Tires:
Hoosier R7 295/35/19 or 295/30/19

Again, I'd like to run them front and back as a square setup. I'm just hoping they fit in the front of the car without issues?

My car is at stock ride height.

I see other members running similar sizes but was curious if anyone has tried these exact wheels or tires?

Thanks!

At +48 offset it'll be really close on whether it hits the caliper or not. You may need a spacer to run them.

i run these with 285/35R19 conti DW for daily. however, i keep my bolt-on adapters mounted (1.5") up front (for convenience when switching out to my 315/30 on 18x11 competitive setup), and kept a 20mm spacer on in the rear for a flush fender setup (hey, it's a DD too, needs to look good!)

that said, when i'm switching my struts/shocks for the winter rebuild this weekend, i'll see if they will bolt on without the adapter up front - most likely there will be strut interference, but i will let you know. caveat: i'm lowered a little more than an inch front/rear, and run a lot of camber (~3.75f/2.4r - plates, not bolts)

I'm also looking at these for my summer/occasional Auto-X wheels. Good to know they should fit OK with a 10 mm spacer.

Thank you all for the input. So it looks like these could work with the proper spacers.

Does anyone have a vector or CAD file for wheels spacers? I run a metal fabrication business and might end up making some custom wheel spacers if that's the case.

What do they weight? Cheap. Strong. Light. You can only have 2. Choose wisely.

The AMR 19x10s are 27 lbs. Not featherweights by any means, but a good deal lighter than the stock PP wheels.

Stock is about low 30s? For track use, I would say these are most important upgrades:

Brake fluid (Safety issue)
Brake pads (part safety part performance)
Alignment (performance) Tied
Tires (performance) Tied

Lighter wheels is really a nice-to-have. But very noticeable.

Agreed on all points.

For some of us w/o the pp wheels, we want wider than 245 rubber and would prefer to spend the money on the rubber if we can get decent quality, but inexpensive wheels.

Yep. Agreed. 19s are pricey. I dropped to 18x10s on my s197. Far more tire options. Good values are Rival, Rival S, RE11, RE71, DIIs. Good luck!

I think that's what I'll end up doing as well, just for tire selection alone. It's tough to find as good of value wheels as the AMR 19s though (I wish they had an 18" variant).

In my case I have the PP, so I'm stuck with 19's for the most part. But I want to run wider Hoosiers. To me, wider Hoosiers > wheels that are 5 lbs lighter. So my money goes toward cheaper rims and more expensive tires. I wish they had wheels as cheap as AMR but in 18's that actually fit over the PP brakes.

Closest track to you is prob Thunderhill, my favorite track. Gets super hot there, as you know. I am not familiar with the s550s. But for my s197, brake ducts were absolutely necessary.
