As another mere mortal, I like the idea of more down force on the rear to help prevent severe and sudden over steer.
I see your point. Stickier tires will do the trick too no holes required.

I can't stand people that half ass things. Do it once. Do it right.
Anything that is worth doing is worth doing right, or don't do it at all. It amazes me that people will spend money on a part, then complain how much it cost to install the part the correct way.
It's kinda like someone trying to lose weight. They eat a Big Mac, large fries and wash it down with a Diet Coke and wonder why they still gain weight. "But I drank a Diet Coke" it has no sugar!

No matter what, my way is the right way...Do you know how I know? Its my car.

Ok. I'll take the bait since you assumed I was referring to you. The difference between you and I is, I work on cars for a living and have been in the industry for my whole life. By whole life I mean 45 years. My family owns and operates a custom fabrication and body shop for over 45 years. My dad also owns a machine shop and both him and I are journeyman. I'm not saying others do things wrong or hack them. I'm not saying you yourself don't know what you are doing. I said I don't like when people half ass things.
I'm a attention to detail guy. I like things perfect as they can be. I set hi standards for myself and customers. I know that's different from doing things yourself and I also know not all businesses care. But I do. If a car owner wants to use the stock deck lid and fill the center holes with gum and stripe over it, have at it. But no way in hell would I ever do that. I wouldn't sleep at night. I know I have OCD and I'm a professionist but come on who does this? Your car, your way or not I get that. But thats hack work there buddy.

I'm the same way. As far as the guy saying it's his car so it's the right way..... Sorry man, it may be your car and you can hack it up any way you want, doesn't make it right.

Disagree, "right" is a subjective spectrum not an absolute.
