I have Conti Extreme Contact Sport 02's and love them for daily driving and dry track days. I have driven them in the rain in town and they do well.
I have a 2 day track session this weekend and rain is in the forecast. Has anyone tracked in the rain with these? If so, thoughts? I do have some all-seasons I can quickly put on if needed.

Warm and wet or cold and wet?

That's going to be the deciding factor between a summer tire which handles wet weather well and an all-season.

In your part of the country, and this time of the year, the Conti ECS02 should be great.

If you have an instructor, they'll tell you, but if you don't you should know that the normal racing line is usually the slickest part of a track in wet conditions. All that rubber seasoning makes for terrible wet traction. You end up trying to stay off the normal line as much as possible and only crossing it when you must) The usually crappiest part of the track often has the best grip in the wet.

Great advice and thank you for the response!

It is Oklahoma, so typically hot as hell but there is a cold front hitting the area now and the high for Sunday will be 85. If it does rain (meteorologists here suck at predicting weather) then I won't be trying to set any records, but will just work on hitting the racing line properly and keeping all 4 tires on the hard stuff.
