It's true...I drive my GT vert in heavy traffic on the way home (60 miles each way-traffic the whole way through/around Philly).

With an automatic, the Rain/Snow" setting seems to desensitive the throttle response and seems to either start in second gear, or shift to second gear by around 10 MPH.

Creeping in traffic and 5-10 miles is easier and even speeds as high as 15 mph is easier to modulate.

Your opinion may vary.

Thanks for listening

I just don't like it. I feel like I need to mash on the throttle to go anywhere. If I'm creeping along at 5-10mph, I just depress the brake and roll along. Honestly, I wish that I could stay in sports mode all the time without the auto rev matching when slowing down.

How do I access this setting?
If you have an automatic tranny, you'll find a toggle switch on the lower far right on the instrament panel. Toggle switch has 4 modes. Normal, Sport +, Race and Snow/Wet.

I thought manuals also had the Wet/Snow mode?

Only available with the premium trim. If you don't have the aluminum toggle switches, no wet/snow for you.

I think hes referring to the steering feel. Comfort, Normal and Sport.

Not a true item for confession, but ...

Rain/Snow mode could inhibit the type of throttle response you'll need for certain situations in normal driving. Be careful.

He's referring to the drive modes on the premium trims which are different than steering feel.
