Touch up paint pen?

Hey everybody, I'm new to the forum and I think this is where this would go.

I Have a few paint chips from driving on the highway(in Arizona have alot of pebbles and such on the roads) I was wondering if anybody has ever bought a paint pen and had success with them? use only dr. colorchip. just read any of the threads below.

As stated above just get the dr. color chip. I used mine last night and am extremely pleased.

I actually got a 3-1 pen from *gasp* autozone and it turned out pretty damn good.

This was on Oxford white so any deviation in color will be noticed. I assume the metallic may be more difficult however.

I bought mine directly from the dealer but I have Ruby Red so it's hard to find a suitable match.
