The body shop will work with the adjuster as parts come off and additional damage will change the numbers. As was said previously, that sucks to be dealing with, especially with nice weather around the corner. Most vody shops nowadays are juggling cars to run the shop smoothly and insurance repairs pile up fast so I hope parts are readily available to get your car back asap.
