torque management i think

Doing a couple of pulls on the highway with my friend. Same mods as me, except he has a aluminum driveshaft, MGW short throw shifter and nitto Drag radials. we did a roll in 1st gear. 1st gear spun a little, 2nd gear got a little sideways, 3rd gear spun(real hard chirp) then when i switched from 3rd to 4th the car didn't pull as hard. It didn't bog but it didn't pull as hard, like it lost torque is the best way i can describe it. It felt like power was lost. Shifting at 7000 each time. I noticed when we did a roll in 3rd and i switched to 4th the power was there. i could see the front of the hood raise up when i switched from 3rd to 4th. Anyone have this issue? is it the torque management issue? I think its because of all the spinning, by time i get to the 4th the car is like I'm gonna slow u down. Im in track mode with the advanced traction control off. please help

I've felt similar things. Sometimes my car feels weak. I recently dynoed and made good power so I know it's not a hardware issue. Maybe just in my head getting used to the power or what your suggesting could be it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Right car made good power as well..448hp 405 tq. It's only when I switch from 3rd to 4th. Coming out of 2nd into 3rd, it's a hard spin or chirp then going into 4th it feels like a loss of power. But a roll from 3rd to 4th shifting at 7000. No problem car pulls

Pull the fuse and see if it's different. I highly doubt it, but you'll know for sure... If you crash and burn, don't blame me. ;)

What mod's do you have for 448whp?

#66 I believe - it takes out traction control and abs and lights your dash up like a Christmas tree. There are some threads on it.

I've never seen an issue though after being tuned (clutch protection gone) AND having advanced trac off.

Mine has done it also ..Every thing turned off but still felt like traction control kicked in ..If I'm at the track where it doesn't spin it doesn't do it ... But on the street it will do it if I'm spinning a lot ...It left my tuner and myself wondering if the traction control is still working in the back ground to some degree ..

On my Kawasaki ZX14R we tune off the traction control but at times it still kicked in ... what we found out later was Kawasaki hid a Safety mode in the ECU ..Once we found that we could turn it off by flashing the full power mode into the safety mode .. I wonder if the Mustang PCM has the same type of safety mode ? I have seen a few guys pull the ABS fuse and that seemed to fix it ..

I don't remember the number , but it under the hood in the black box on the right hand side ... It's a really big fuse and it's green in color if I remember right ...I was thinking it was number 63 but I could be wrong ..
