I am in need of the latest update for the navigation unit. Mine came and is set to chinese language and Ineed to set it to english. Can someone tell me where I can find the files


Second post: I tried the latest update and it did not switch back to English for everything. I'm thinking its the device.nnp ile in the root that sets it to Chinese instead of English. Can you send me the device.nnp file from yours? Is there anywhere in the unit where I can switch language?

Need to do this update, will do upcoming weekend, does it get rid of the "beep" when you turn on the car, also noticed when the a/c is on and you go back to the radio it will go back to the a/c every 2-3mins for a few seconds then go back to the radio all by its self. I have a real sync2 in my explorer which does not do that its just alkward like oh yeah here is what the a/c is on back to the radio now. Driving to best buy yesterday with my wife and she noticed the Chinese play button and was like "WTF is that?" I explained it was not the most expensive unit and had some quirks to work out it was just funny to hear her and see the face she made.

Those are well known issues. Try to update your unit with the latest update I cooked for it. You can check it out at on the website or this thread on previous pages. For the website [Click Here]

Don't need the nnp file. I believe there's a special code to type to change the unit language. I don't remember it right now. I'll try to look for it.

It could be... You need to type that code in the Engineering mode.
