Well it's going to suck if I have to ship it back to them. I'm just going to tell them they can't fix it and that I want a full refund.
Me, too.if we do a group buy count me in...
Count me in if this happens.Me, too.

That happened to me at first until I played with the volume options. Be sure to open the navigation app and click the "wrench" symbol on the bottom left of the screen. Check the volume settings for voice, etc. If you want to test the sound, click on "languages" where different voices/accents can be tested (e.g., Australian "English" or England "English"). Here, you can listen to whether or not the settings are correct.anyone else not have any sound for directions?
Back in January I rented a '16 Jeep Cherokee Limited on a trip. Super nice SUV. Real comfy. But it had what is I guess Chrysler's version of this multi-function touch screen and there was no way to turn JUST the radio off! It frustrated the hell out of me. I remember pulling over and spending 15 minutes reading the owners manual till I gave up. I had to do exactly what you said...select another media source. I hated it!There is no simple way to turn JUST the radio off
No one knew that this occurs until the first installs completed. This is a major annoyance for me. The entire unit can be powered on/off by pressing the volume knob (same functionality as stock). Powering the unit off sends it to a black screen that displays the time and day of week, and all audio is turned off. However...these are fancy 8" screens. We bought them to display shit...did we not lol. Sometimes I just wanna drive and have the maps displaying...no sound. I've found that once I turn the radio on (doesn't matter if it's AM or FM) that the best way to turn it off is to select another media option that won't do anything (such as 'Video'). This is the only method that I've found that will allow me to operate the unit freely without the radio playing.
just to be clear, it would be for the same unit that X0AYHAM0X showed in his video correct?Got it. I'm going to get it started ASAP.
