Also guys when messing around with the setting you are responsible. With that been said please convert more images than just one when trying to upload the picture as a start up screen. and YES the default picture will erase once you upload a new one since it overwrites it. I can provide the working default Pony picture. Also make sure you don't select a image that is way too big for the screen. Remember the screen is 800 x 600. and make sure the image that you convert is in BMP 24 color format.

That's a new one. I put mine an 'Auto' and haven't touched it ever since.

Mine does the same thing, but it doesn't bother me much since I drive at 5 am to go to work. Only bothers me when I drive home since its too dark and I would have to set the blacklight all the way up.

That's a new one. I put mine an 'Auto' and haven't touched it ever since.

I had mine on auto but it wasn't bright enough so i turned it off and turned the back light all the way up and it was perfect. It just reverts back to factory settings every time i turn the car off though

Good News on the Navi update......

The maps are working good with the 2015 maps and I added the TTS feature. Now it speaks the name of the street instead of just saying " Turn Right " But one thing I did not like about it is that it cuts the music off if you have a destination on it. So then music will play fine and when you need to make a turn up ahead it will cut off completely and speak, then come back to the music..... It doesn't have a fade feature...

Also if you have other settings enable like speed cameras or even speed limit , it will tell you if your driving too fast.... to slow down. Or if there's a speed camera up ahead.

If you guys want a video on how it sounds let me know and I will upload it.

Yes it's all done. I just have to upload the files to 4shared but I wont post the links on here because I don't want to get into trouble Unless if its ok with a Mod. So PM me if you want to be the first to try it out. You will need to buy a micro SD card or use the one that came with the unit . If you use the one that came with the unit make a new folder on your desktop and copy all the files that are in it.

I am not responsible if anything happens if you do it that method. This is why I would advise to just buy a new 8GB micro SD card to use.

Or if you guys want me to put the files on a new SD card for you and mail them to you I can also do that but I will have to charge. I know on ebay they are charging $55 for the maps. I can do it for a lot cheaper....

Wifey just reported that she lost her backup camera. All other features work fine. Gonna perform a reset and cross my fingers. I would call TomTop customer support, but.....

If it's not a setting issue, Id say check the rca for the backup camera behind the radio.

If you do a reset, does it slick all previous settings? (radio presets, sound setting, nav settings, etc.)
Never mind. Next time she put it in reverse it worked.
