ok, so I went and did it......

WOW,,,, I cannot explain how much better it is and to think I was 50/50 on having it done.....

FIRST, Dave at GT101 did a fantastic job and anybody thinking of going there, do it... they are first class. Been twice and wouldn't go anywhere else now. They know there stuff period.

On my GT convertible, Eibach pro kit and 25mm front spacer and 23mm rear spacer.

Its tightened up the sloppiness of the ride that I didn't even realise was there lol ! it drives so much better I rearly am quite surprised. Its 95% as comfortable as it was before but 50% better in the tightness of the drive, I'm a happy bunny.

As for looks, well I cant even contemplate how money could be better spent on a Mustang ! read my opening post, I was unsure as I liked the stock look, I was so nervous of messing the look up but boy, it looks perfect now imo.

Will try to get pics up when I get a moment but ANYONE on the fence about doing it like I was, just do it, you will not be disappointed.

cheers
og

And the swing is rocking towards my wallet paying out on these ! Onto the birthday list. FFS here was me thinking 'After I do the Calipers, all i'll want is sequentials'

I reckon you were just teasing us! You were having it done all along.
Yeh, I have used Dave for supply and fitting of mods. Great place.

When you say "pro kit"...you mean rollbars as well? If you only did the springs then get saving for the rollbars because they make even MORE of a difference.
Yes, just the pro kit springs.... ive made a conscious decision not to look at any more modding suggestions , no I wont, not at all, never, no more.....
got a link for the roll bar by any chance ?

cheers

sub consciously I think that may have been the case as I had decided this mod was going to happen prior to getting the car, after picking it up I went all girlie and started to question it :eyebulge:

I got mine from CJPP, the whole kit, springs+bars.

Drove around on just the springs for a couple of weeks before I got around to fitting the bars.

I'm not exaggerating when I say it was like night and day!

You think the ride has been improved by the springs? You fit the rollbars and the car just stays flat no matter what you're doing. Corners, braking, launching...flat. Ride quality is unaffected.

Not sure how much of that is down to the bars being matched with the springs, but if it isn't, I would recommend doing the rollbars INSTEAD of the springs to anyone on a budget.

Right, so uprated front and rear sway bars next  I had the lot thrown on, with the sway bars at the softer setting, I'll wait until after my return from my Italy trip to decide on the stiffer setting.

If it's only aesthetics you are looking for, then the sway bars are not needed, but for an even sharper feel and a flatter ride, they're worth doing.

Then there's the sub frame K brace and.......................

Man, what were you doing during the wait for your car?!?

I think most of us spent the kids inheritance on Mustang mods :D. Having got the FRPP Track Pack, with all the uprated parts needed in that kit, for the price, it was a no brainier. About 15-20% more expensive now, due to the ÂŁv$.

Even after the NC500, I couldn't be more chuffed with the feel, but there's a little bit of me wants to try that stiffer setting.
