Mines lowered with adjustable height settings

Never had an issues with grousing out. M3 is much more of an issue at standard height.

Lower is better

Does look very good as standard, but looks even better lowered

I have BMRs installed and only dropped it by a small amount, but it does make it look SO much better

Trouble is, modding this car is like Crack... So addictive!
Hi Tom,

If you don't mind me asking which BMR springs did you fit? The Performance Lowering Springs, SP080's?

Thanks

SP088s (drag) on the rears and SP089s (performance min drop) on the fronts.

I went with the drags rather then the performance on the rears as I read good things about them and how they gel well with the stock struts, even though they are slightly stiffer then the performance rears.

Thanks for the info; it's been very helpful. I'm also only after a slight drop overall, particularly on the rear.

Anyone here have a steep driveway and have also lowered their car?

I'm really keen to lower it but the driveway to my garage is really quite steep. Dad's 911 was so close to scraping when he drove up it.
i have a steep driveway, i can't get on it even without it being lowered though :(

Ok, so had a list of things to do BEFORE I collected the stang BUT now I'm not so sure

I was going to put spacers and eibach pro kit on BUT I'm surprised how good it looks stock, then I've seen just spacers on stock (only pictures admittedly) and I seem to be in a world of dilemma

Anyone else surprised at how good it looks as standard ?

A confused Og ....
Looks OK stock but wheel arch gap is rather large, spacers will help but a drop of some sort looks ace IMO. :headbang:

Anyone lowered a convertible? If so which springs did you go for? I've also seen a lot of different sizes of spacers between 15 and 25mm (inch). View on what works best?

Interesting thread this. Being a fan of keeping things stock (I agree - stock does look good) I couldn't help but notice on the NC500 parked up next to others just how high the car sits, especially at the front, and how much better it looks lowered, it really does!

As soon as I can find the cash, I am pretty sure that will be my next mod. Only want to go 1" or so but I think it will make a huge difference.

I hate reading this thread, purely because I've been considering dropping the car, enough to still get the front over a kerb, but enough to reduce the gap between the arches and the wheel as it's quite the gap. Probably drop like 3/4"-1" I think will do it.

Will need to measure the kerbs clearance where I park to make sure I miss them lol!

Think it's about ÂŁ200 for some springs... ooo so tempting!
Kristian87 I'm the same, it's the picture of Me, you, Steve & Mac at the Cat and Fiddle that does it for me and makes me consider it - before I didn't give a hoot... MUST avoid meets at all costs, costing me a fortune (tyres, Mods etc!)

Same sort of thing happened to me.

I never intended lowering the car but the first meet I went to was a Piston Heads meet at Goodwood. I was parked in amongst everything from modified 305's to a Noble. My car looked like a frigging off roader compared to the others.

But its Centurion07 that really did it at the Guildford meet. I drove away from there knowing I had to lower my car after seeing his!

Cheers mate!!

Ha ha, always makes my smile when you mention that. My car was pretty stock then. Just the bonnet stripe I think. I may have had the rear spoilers?
