Just seen the new price increases. I was going to order in the next couple of weeks until I saw them! Is it because all the new models coming out now are the MY17 cars? What do people think? Hold on a while until demand slows or is the price just going to continue to increase?

Many thanks!

Easy answer mate...if you want that Mustang - go get it!

It's a shame to see the prices have risen so much but they certainly wont come down any time soon or at all. Still an absolute bargain at the price they are now anyway.

Get that order in - you won't regret it!

Thanks Kristian much appreciated. I am thinking 5.0 GT, magnetic no custom pack. Anyone know what the standard stereo is like or is it worth upgrading? Can't see a use for the Sat Nav as with Sync3 I can just connect to google maps. Apparently only an 8 month wait now down from 12 months!

The prices are rising due to the ForEx rates.

Blame Brexit for that.

go for it. price will only increase due to demand, supply times - and all that is before inflation increases etc.

can't comment on the base stereo, but i'm loving the shaker pro!

You have good taste my friend! Standard stereo is good. I have heard that the only difference is the sub in the boot? Speakers all the same apparently. Not sure how true that is. Stick with the standard if I were you and go aftermarket if you want better quality.

As posted on the other thread there are a number of reasons the price is going up. One reason is that they shot themselves in the foot with the initial pricing!
Great choice of colour/spec. I'd say if you can afford the extra for the Shaker/Nav then do it if only for the resale value, however I've never owned a car where the music gets turned down so much in order to listen to the engine

Thanks for the advice! My thoughts exactly, what is the need for a stereo anyway in a V8!

Concerned about price & yet still opting for the V8 - just shows Ford really really got that wrong! 50/50 split I believe they expected in the beginning - fail.

Even as an EB owner, if I could order again today. I would go V8. Yes I said it. :ford:

Kristian87 there's also some extra speakers; somewhere in the car. Can't say I cared much about the audio system when purchasing, just wanted the nav!!!

Simple answer is, if you want a Mustang, get it, the price is irrelevant. It's worth it for what you get (car wise) and worth it for what you get (pride, attention, happiness, driving skill wise).

Whichever spec you go for it'll look beautiful to you and that's all that matters :D! We're all here pretty much modding ours to put our own unique touches on them so it's an ever going project :D

As others have said.... Get it ordered mate !! You will not regret it !! I have the standard stereo system and it does the job absolutely fine. Didn't go with the sat nav as the amount of times I'd need would be be minimal (and as you say, there is google maps if you really need it).

Anyhow... Stereo off.... Window and foot down... The only music you'll need
