I lost a pair of drag radials 45-60 days into their life because of bad wear characteristics. Me and my buddy both have BMR springs and we had our tires wear really bad on the inside (I can post pics).

Anything that we can do to help this? :ford:

Did you get an alignment after the spring install?

Camber. Adjust your rear camber to 0 degrees or real close to it.

he got an alignment and I didn't. My pair saw 20-30 passes and 2k miles I'd say. His 0 passes and his were worse.

I bought Racestars because of this -_-

If they did the alignment within oem spec, there's a lot of camber (~-1.5 or more) in the rear that will wear out those radials quickly. I had mine set to 0 when I went to the NT05r and had well over 100 (probably closer to 150) passes and 2k miles when I sold them will over 50% tread left. That said, I only used them to/from the track and didn't daily them.

Again its not the camber's fault for the dead tires. More probably the toe in the rear, combined with the camber, which will eat away at the inside as you drive. Plus when this car squats, the toe deflects drastically, along with some camber and you wear really fast in the rear. Lower control arm bearing from steeda or BMR will help this a bit.

I'm just speaking from my personal experience. My toe was in spec and I bumped the camber to zero and that was my wear - even.

With the camber and toe in spec, I wore the shit out of the inside of my first set of tires.

0 the rear toe? Will still wear when the rear squats, but not as much. Fix the squat deflection and 0 rear toe and you can run obscene amounts a camber with your only issue being that you look stupid. I'm currently at 1.5 or so rear camber and need more for the road coarse.

0* camber, I'd have to pull one of the alignment sheets to see toe values but they were 'in the green'. Now that I'm doing road course I'm at -1.7ish camber.

sometimes factory toe settings are in the green with -.15 toe, which is a killer for wear but does help with handling vs 0 toe. I always run 0 toe on a street car, get crazy if it's a track car.....or do it right and get an alignment when you go to the track and when you're done, you should be changing your brake fluid, pads, tires, etc anyways if you do a good track day, 90-110 bucks for an alignment shouldn't be a factor.

When I lowered my car and put on my new wheels, I took it straight to an alignment shop. 2k miles later, my front tires were destroyed. Took it to a different alignment shop after getting my winter tires put on and found out why:
alignment.webp

I now have over 10k miles on my winter tires and they are still wearing evenly.
